Eligibility:
You are eligible for VHAP if you are 18 or older, a Vermont resident, meet the income guidelines, and one of the following applies: you have been uninsured for at least 12 months; you are between the ages of 18 and 26 and currently on your parents' health insurance plan (with some exceptions for students - see below); you have insurance that only provides hospital care or doctors' visits (but not both) OR if you lost your health insurance.
