Program Description:

Illinois Rx Card is the state's free prescription assistance program designed to help the uninsured and underinsured afford their prescription medications. Residents, including those with insurance to assist with non-covered prescriptions, have been utilizing the program since its launch in May 2011.

Endorsed by the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois and the Northern Illinois Diabetes Foundation, Illinois Rx Card has saved residents over $171 million on prescription medications. The card is pre-activated, with no eligibility requirements, and completely confidential. Savings can be as high as 80% on some medications.

Visit www.illinoisrxcard.com to print out a card, look up medication pricing, or to locate one of the 68,000 participating pharmacies nationwide. Residents unable to print a card from the website can also visit any CVS/pharmacy or Dominick's location in Illinois and ask to have their prescription processed through Illinois Rx Card. The program is also accepted at Hy-Vee, Kmart, Meijer, Jewel-Osco, Pamida, Schnucks, Shopko, Walgreens, Target, Walmart, and many more.

All Kids is Illinois' program for children who need comprehensive, affordable health insurance, regardless of family income, immigration status or health condition. Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy. With All Kids, your children will be able to get the care they need, when they need it. It means you can take your child to the doctor for a regular check-up, to the dentist to fill a cavity or to the eye doctor to get a prescription for glasses.
