New MexiKids and New MexiTeens are no cost or low cost health care coverage programs for children and young
adults under 19 years of age. The programs are some of the many that are available to New Mexico's families from the Human Services Department's Insure New Mexico! Solutions. New MexiKids and New MexiTeens are part of the New Mexico Medicaid program that is also known as Salud!.

Eligibility:
To qualify for New Mexi Kids and New MexiTeens, children must be under the age of 19 and also reside in the state of New Mexico. They must also be a US citizen or legal U.S. resident and fall within the income guidelines set forth by the program. Income requirements are based on 235% of the federal poverty level. New Mexi Kids and New MexiTeens uses a presumptive eligibility policy and your coverage will begin as soon as the application is receive. Coverage will be terminated if it is found that the child is not eligible after the completion of the application review.
